ERPTA wants to celebrate our newest Golden Acorn outstanding volunteer winners!
Our school could not be what it is without amazing volunteers, we are so lucky to have each and every one of these fabulous people working hard for our school.

What does our PTA do for East Ridge?

The mission of East Ridge Elementary PTA is to enrich, encourage, and enlighten. We do this through providing a wide spectrum of educational programs and a network of support for both our students and our staff.

The PTA relies on generous donations from our families to keep programs in place; with your donations funding nearly 50% of our budget. Additionally, corporate matching and smaller fundraisers help to generate funds throughout the year. The greatest source of funding for our school comes from the BeCommunity Auction held with Bear Creek in the Spring. Whether you donate online, in person, or at the auction—rest assured, your donations are being used to their fullest in providing amazing programs and support for the children of East Ridge Elementary.

PTA-funded  Programs When School is in Session Without Covid Restrictions
The East Ridge PTA funds nearly $30,000 worth of school programs each year (approximately $100 per student). Using these funds we create a wide array of education and enrichment programs for the school:
5th grade guitar Fall Festival Reflections
Art Docent Field Day School Dances
Art Walk Game Room Science Fair
Bingo Night Ice Cream Social Specialist Grants
Book Fair Inclusivity  Spelling Bees
Booked for Lunch Library Grants Staff Support Grants
Choir Field Trips Math Challenge Student Assemblies
Earth Club Movie Nights Watch Dogs
Emergency Preparedness Of Cedar and Salmon Welcome Back Coffee
   Program Scholarships
Self-Supported PTA Programs
These programs raise their own funds through program fees and are expected to operate on an approved and balanced budget, but they do rely on PTA overhead, insurance, and resources. These programs include:
After School Enrichment
Mariners Night
School Musical
Spirit Wear
