Math Challenge is a FREE Math enrichment program at East Ridge Elementary and no sign up is necessary. It is designed to give elementary students opportunities to sharpen their mathematical problem solving skills. There will be 8 sets of challenges every month starting in mid-October and ending in May. 12 random winners will be announced following each challenge who answer the questions correctly. Recognition awards will also be given at the end of the school year for continual participation.

Throughout the challenges, the program covers problem solving strategies such as draw a picture or model, make an organized list, look for a pattern, working backward, and guess and check. All students K to Grade 5 are invited to participate.
